It's #FrontendFriday - npm or npx - what's the difference?
npm or npx? Find out the differences, when you should use which tool and what's behind it technically. A compact guide for devs!

Hi #FrontendFriday Readers! In the age of software-defined cars, cars and software can no longer be considered separately. In this blog post, however, I would like to highlight a completely different way of looking at these two worlds as a question: "Gap dimensions in software development?" and thus point out the importance of this supposedly trivial topic as a reminder.

It is again #FrontendFriday! Do you use Google Chrome as your web browser and have you ever seen the prefix "chrome://..." in your URL address bar? That was a (hidden) internal page of Chrome! In this blog post, I would like to show you where you can find all the hidden, internal pages in Google Chrome and give you an overview of the pages that could be particularly interesting and useful for web developers or Chrome power users.

"Is that a small L or a capital i?" - I'm sure many people know this sentence. And it describes a special form of spoofing quite well - visual spoofing. What seems harmless in this example can, however, become a serious problem in practice. Spoofing in general refers to the attack technique of pretending to be someone trustworthy who you are not.
In this #FrontendFriday I would like to tell you about characters that pretend to be someone else and how you can best prevent this with good validation as a front-end developer. In real projects, the same validation should of course also be carried out in the backend (at the API).

As a software service provider, the topic of security is a natural companion in the planning and development of software. In everyday project work, however, it is unfortunately all too often forgotten - both on the service provider and customer side - that supposed little things like "I will send you the password via e-mail." can have fatal consequences.
